Sundays at Ikea bring thoughts of flat pack furniture and meat balls from the cafe.
But add the roar of almost 50 Super Cars & Exotics and Ikea just got a lot more cooler.
With an almighty Roar of engines, we exited and made our way for a nice drive down the Gold Coast Highway.
The Lamborghini’s led the pack briefly.
But the 9 GTR R35’s managed to sneak in front.
The view from behind was spectacular to say the least.
We even attracted a nice old Porsche.
One of our members had a nice 4wd ask him how he could join the Brisbane Super Car Club.
But we had to tell him that they were not allowed.
His Mate then asked if he could join in his sedan…
But we had to gracefully decline.
While they were there, they had a chat with the one trouble maker in our group 🙂
But of course, if was all friendly.
Ken in his 360 is always easy to spot.
And this nice Gallardo with a Custom Carbon front and rear end was awesome.
And lets not forget the GTR’s
There was even a brief Super Car traffic jam.
We even managed to get some cool Aerial Photo’s as well.
The wonderful folks at Beaches on Kirra did a great job for catering for 70 of us and our varied taste buds.
I ordered the Beaches Burger, and it was more than enough to fill me and the wandering fingers who stole my chips.
After Lunch we all said our goodbye’s and headed off for home.
Another great day by the Brisbane Super Car Club.
Our next run will involve some TWISTY Roads.
You will not want to miss that one.
